Todd Valentine has a strong Kinesiology and athletic background that allows him to be one of the most respected Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainers in the Northwest.

• 1997 to 2001 Attend Washington State University

• 1998 to 2001 Sports Official & Physical Education Instructor at Washington State University

• 2001 Graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Social Sciences

• 2002 to 2003 Attend Ashmead College​ (Massage Therapy Program)

• 2003 Graduated as Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP)

• 2003 Became Clinic Supervisor, Kinesiology Instructor, and Sports Massage Internship Instructor

• In 2005 to 2006 Attend Ashmead College (Fitness Trainer Program)

• 2006 Graduated as NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer

• 2006 Became Fitness Trainer Instructor

• 2008 Created an evening Sports Massage Internship at Evolution Mixed Martial Arts Gym in Tacoma - Started Sports Massage Team; Elite Massage Professionals (EMP).

• 2008 to 2009 Established with 9 Martial Arts Gyms, 1 BJJ Tournament, and 1 Football team.

• October 31, 2011 Quit teaching at Everest College

• November 2011 Reshaped EMP

• September 1, 2012 Merged Skilled Handz Massage with Elite Massage Professionals (EMP)

• 2013 Gained (2) Professional MMA Athlete Sponsorships

• 2013 Began Massaging at Combat Sport & Fitness / Yoga Culture every other Tuesday massaging the members and staff

• 2015 Massaged at 2015 USGA US OPEN at Chambers Bay

• 2015 Grew EMP from a 1 room suite to a 3 room suite

• October 2015 Grew from a 3 room suite to a 4 room suite

• January 30, 2016 Established Elite Massage & Fitness

• January 1, 2019 Grew from a 4 room suite to a 5 room suite

• Since January 2019 there are now 6 Massage Therapists and 1 Physical Therapist with their own businesses sub-leasing from Elite Massage & Fitness at one location.

• February 2019 Co-Founded Elite Massage Education LLC and the Elite Massage Education Center

• As of June 2019 EMP now services 34 days of events from Running Events, Bluegrass Festivals, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournaments, Bicycle Riding Events, Concerts, Corporate Massages, and Festivals.

Todd has helped many people throughout his career; even saved a person from wanting to amputate his own foot to getting him back to hiking 10+ miles.

 

His Kinesiology background provides him with the skills that give him a specialization in shoulders, hips, and knees and he combines his skills with Sports Massage Therapy.

 

He shares his passion and dedication with others through Continuing Education Classes that he teaches.

He specializes in Fusion Massage which is a combination of all his knowledge and skills rolled into one session. With experience and knowledge of Sports Massage, Stretching, Treatment, Rehabilitation, Functional Fitness, Senior Fitness, Hot Stone, Cupping, and Kinesio-Taping Techniques; Todd has the determination, knowledge, and experience to assist you in finding the best possible solution to reach your massage and fitness goals.
