John Caverly is one of non-massage therapist instructors but don't let that fool you. John has over 20 years experience in health care working in both the pre-hospital and clinical setting. He is a wildland firefighter and EMS supervisor for a He completed his small fire department. John received his EMT certification in 1995 from Tacoma Community College and is a qualified Washington State BLS evaluator. John graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Administration.

John loves to teach pre-hospital care skill; CPR, First Aid, and Blood-Born Pathogens and HIV / AIDS education to both medical professionals and the general public. John has extensive experience in teaching patient assessment, charting, and sports injury response in the pre hospital care setting and how these skill will relate and enrich the educational experience for the massage student.
